Configure Crazyrouter API in Cherry Studio

Overview

Cherry Studio is a feature-rich AI desktop client that supports multi-model conversations, MCP tools, reasoning models, and more.

Basic Configuration

1. Open Settings

   Launch Cherry Studio, click Settings in the bottom left → Model Services

2. Add Provider

   Click Add Provider, select OpenAI Compatible type

3. Enter Details

   • Name: Crazyrouter
   • API URL: https://crazyrouter.com/v1
   • API Key: sk-xxx
4. Add Models

   Click Fetch Model List to automatically pull available models. You can also manually add model names.

MCP Tool Configuration

Cherry Studio supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools:

1. Go to Settings → MCP Services
2. Add MCP server configuration
3. Enable MCP tools in conversations

Reasoning Model Configuration

For models that support reasoning (such as o1, o3), Cherry Studio automatically detects and displays the thinking process:

1. Add reasoning models like o1, o3-mini when adding models
2. The reasoning chain is automatically displayed during conversations

Recommended Settings

Setting	Recommended Value
Temperature	0.7 (creative tasks) / 0 (precise tasks)
Max Tokens	4096
Streaming	Enabled

Cherry Studio supports configuring multiple providers simultaneously, allowing you to switch between different models during conversations.
